Detailed visual planning that brings clarity, confidence, and intention to your project long before construction begins.
Every exceptional landscape begins long before the first shovel touches the soil. It begins with vision – translated into precise lines, scaled drawings and thoughtfully rendered spaces that allow you to see your property with new clarity. Our 2D and 3D digital designs bridge imagination and execution, giving form to ideas and transforming them into tangible, buildable plans. Every walkway, planting bed, structure and transition is considered in relationship to your home’s architecture and the way you live within the space.
These are not abstract concepts or generic renderings. They are grounded, experience-driven designs shaped by decades of hands-on installation knowledge. Because we build what we design, our drawings reflect real-world conditions, materials, grading, and construction details. The result is a process that replaces uncertainty with confidence – allowing you to move forward knowing exactly how your landscape will look, feel and function before construction begins.
Before we build anything, we design everything. Start your project with clarity.
A full-color 2D digital rendering provides a precise, scaled overhead view of your project, clearly defining layout, circulation, dimensions and material transitions. It allows you to understand how the space is organized and how it will function before construction begins. These plans also serve as field-ready construction documents, ensuring our crews build the project exactly as designed. Because 2D drawings concentrate on structure and spatial organization, they are most appropriate for straightforward projects where scale and flow are the primary considerations.
2D designs are clear, precise and efficient
For projects that include structures, elevation changes, lighting or layered outdoor living spaces, immersive 3D renderings provide a deeper level of understanding. They allow you to stand beneath the pavilion, see the fireplace in proportion, evaluate sightlines from the kitchen island and understand how lighting will shape the space after sunset. Materials, textures, shadows and architectural details are experienced before construction begins – not imagined. For larger investments, this level of visualization creates confidence, alignment and refinement long before the first day on site.
3D renderings offer depth, perspective and seasonal changes
Turns out, getting dirty is actually a pretty great experience.
Choosing a designer for your home is an important decision and it’s natural to have questions along the way. Take the time to do your research, ask thoughtful questions, and move forward only when you feel confident. The right designer will welcome your input and prioritize your vision every step of the way.
A lot of designers are highly trained in classrooms and go on to work primarily in an office. They usually never get a chance to work on-site and get hands on construction knowledge. I started working when I was 12, so I spent my early years working with my hands. Learning the on-site construction methods and best building practices, and then I learned the design process. Because of that – I’m able to see potential design flaws before it ever goes into the construction phase. I’m confident when I design something, because I know what it takes to build it. No last minutes price changes because something was missed in the design phase. With us – it’s just a job done right!
Absolutely! Our 3D designs are very close to 100% accuracy. Stone textures, flower colors, outdoor kitchen appliance shimmer and shine, warm lighting, moving water and burning fires are all details you’ll be able to see once your design is complete.
The time it takes to complete a landscape design depends on the size and complexity of the project, along with if it’s a 2D or 3D design. On average our process takes anywhere from 2 -6 weeks. We suggest you start your design process at least four months before you’d like work to begin. You’ll need time to design and estimate the project, and then permitting usually takes 3 -6 weeks depending on your township and the scope of work.
This depends on your township and the permitting process. Sometimes a township will require engineered drawings from an architect or engineer for things like stormwater management, large retaining walls or large amounts of earth disturbance. We usually have an idea going into a design if those items could be required and we’ll let you know in advance. Any drawings by an engineer or licensed architect will be an additional cost.
