Outdoor Kitchens

When thoughtfully integrated with architecture and nature, outdoor structures become natural gathering points – a refined space that feels intentional, enduring and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Gather. Cook. Connect.

An outdoor kitchen should feel like a natural extension of the home.  It should be a place where you want to cook – not just a place where you can cook.  Having a kitchen outside gives you the freedom to actively be “with” your friends and family while cooking for them.  It also enables you to keep an eye on kids at play so you don’t feel guilty about cooking inside.  When thoughtfully designed, an outdoor kitchen transforms a backyard into a true living space centered around connection, comfort, and shared experiences.

Whether it’s a simple built-in grill area or a fully integrated entertaining space with refrigeration, bar seating, lighting, shade structures and custom stonework – every outdoor kitchen should feel intentional and connected to the architecture and style of your home.

We design outdoor kitchens that are not only beautiful and durable, but functional, inviting and built to make entertaining feel effortless.

Layout

Outdoor kitchens can be designed in a wide range of sizes and configurations depending on how the space will be used.  Some homeowners prefer a simple built-in grill with countertop space for preparing meals, while others envision a fully integrated outdoor kitchen complete with refrigeration, sink, storage, bar seating and a pizza oven.  Straight, “L”, and “U”-shaped kitchen layouts each create different opportunities for cooking, serving and entertaining.  This gives you plenty of space to take care of your guests while still feeling connected to the conversation around you.

Materials

The materials used in an outdoor kitchen play a major role in both durability and overall appearance. Kitchen walls can be finished with natural stone, brick, wood, stucco or manufactured block.  Each one is designed to coordinate with the home and surrounding space.  Countertop options often include granite, porcelain, concrete and other outdoor-rated surfaces selected for both performance and style.  Thoughtful material selection helps the kitchen feel cohesive with the architecture of the home while creating a space that is built to withstand years of outdoor use.

From simple grilling stations to fully integrated entertaining spaces, every detail is designed to feel connected, functional and inviting.
